Gemma McFarlane-Edmond is a Professional Dancer and Commercial Model currently working in London.

Over the past 8 years she has acted and danced as a principal dancer at The Royal Opera House, acted at The Glyndebourne Opera and performed as an Actress and Dancer at The Royal National Theatre. The main highlights of her career so far were having the opportunity to work on the pilot of Game Of Thrones and as a Principal Dancer in Macbeth for The Royal Opera House Tour in Tokyo. As signed model she has worked for numerous world-wide brands in commercial and print campaigns such as: T-mobile, Samsung, X Factor, Lush Cosmetics, Dazed, Schön magazine, Norton Security, Getty Images, Swisscom, Microsoft, McDonalds, FedEx, Martini and Johnny Walker to name a few.

Before Gemma got accepted into a professional institution she gained a Dance Scholarship at Marylebone C of E Specialist Arts School where her talent was nurtured. She was part of The English National Opera’s weekend arts companies Live Wires and Live Culture; which took place on the week-ends. As well as attending these classes she was a member of WAC (Weekend Arts College) funded by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Whilst there Gemma participated in all of the dance classes. After leaving Sixth Form at St. Marylebone School Gemma went on to train at London Studio Center where she graduated with BA (Hons) in Theatre Dance. She furthered her training at Broadway Dance Center in New York City where she enrolled in the International Student Visa Program majoring in Ballet. It was there where she met an acting coach and started acting training in Meisner technique. At present she is broadening her talents and enrolled in Identity Drama School; which is the UK’s first part-time Drama School; where she studied acting technique intensively to become a well-rounded artist. Recently in 2017 Gemma just completed her first short film as the Lead actress in ‘FURY’ written and produced by award winning Sheila Nortley which will be put forward to worldwide film festivals.
